WHich of course it wasn't.

PLayers should expect that at the final whistle in a game like that, and I wuld think they can take it and its the right time to do it.
Won't affect the result (obviously).
Had we been behind them all game its not going to kncok confidence, lets them know we were not good enough, but at least they know we'll be behind them while the game is going on.
