Just got back online, my thoughts

Green - has kept us in the games so far, neither goal was his fault
Louis-Jean - looked solid enough but would like to see Colin have a go
Drury - solid enough
Shackell - much better than Doherty, should be one of the first names on the team sheet
Doherty - eeeeeyooooore
Fleming - not bad, headers could do with some improvement
Hucks - good runs, always gives 100%, glad he stayed
Hughes - 100% effort, 10% skill. Lucky not to break someone's legs with his sliding tackles last night
Safri - looked good when he came on
Marney - good signing
Thorne - not seen anything near his potential. In fact I haven't seen anything of him at all
Jarrett - looks an excellent signing. Just needs to be on the same wavelength as the rest of the team
Charlton - did well in an unfamiliar position, but, if fit, we have better midfielders
McKenzie - gives it everything as usual, very unlucky last night
Ashton - class. The overhead kick last night was very unlucky to come off the crossbar

Overall - not too worried about the start to the season, we just need a holding midfielder which I doubt will happen given Worthy's programme notes last night, the Crewe game was one of those days when nothing goes right, we won't have many of those. From the Coventry game we just need to remember the time for sitting back is 3-0 up with one minute left, not 1-0 up with 45 minutes left.
