Seem to remember last season Roeder saying that

the decent teams are all made up of big string athletes. Teams such as Watford, Stoke and West Brom. Big lads, with plenty of muscle and good pace.

That being the case, why have we not replaced the dead wood with these kinds of players.

Also, when he appointed Stephenson, didn't he say that he wanted smiles on players faces? Doesn't seem like that happening at the moment.

For someone who comes across as reasonably bright, he doesn't half contradict himself.
