if Borneo's Kenny and Cristiano and their equivalents across the planet are to grow up intoxicated by Premier League football we need more managerial gamblers in Gareth Southgate's highly principled mould

Who gives a flying f**k whether kids in Borneo or wherever grow up loving English football, except those thinking of them as future customers of course.

Personally I'd rather see them growing up loving Bornean football
