Take away the loans and those funds would probably only cover the cost of 1 permanent player.

The board let Grant and Worthington spunk a lot of money on terrible, drain on the club players like Brellier, Thorne, Chadwick, Hartson, plus countless others who have been and gone in the last couple of seasons.

As we know, to do well in any league you need a settled, solid team adding a couple of quality players each year to do well. We were doing that until we got relegated and we've never recovered.
