Crewe were a bottom division team fro every season from 1970-1989. They now average around 7000 fans but mostly they have been around the 5000 mark.

He keeps a bottom division side in the second flight of english football. He has achieved four promotions in his time with no money to spend.

His teams have always played football and he has schooled countless players who have gone onto success elswhere.

The only time, and I repeat the only time they have been in this division in the last 100 years has been under him as a manager.
