If he was only viewed once and was signed mainly off the back of 2 Spurs staff (who are probably out of work now!), then this is really poor management.

1.Roeder should know better than players should be viewed more than once to see there full tallent and if they will fit into the squad.

2.Did the club not learn from the Raymond De Waard situation under the Hamilton era, of signing players without scouting them 1st?
