obviously not just 'lucky'

but there were a fantastic number of games thats eason that could easily have gone either way on balance of play. Just off the top of my head I can think of home games against Reading/Sunderland/Sheff U/Ipswich/Derby/Preston/Forest. Sometimes you get a year when everything just goes your way and I feel 2003/4 was one of those. Unlikley to happen again any time soon :0( What we were great at was holding our nerve in tight games (even when the ball was pinging against the woodwork) and not letting the pressure of being top get to us. The strength was more mental than footballing (though I acknowledge the mental side is a vital part of football). I maintain though that this is a better team in terms of footballers. The mental side is another thing of course.
