We were NOT unlucky tonight; Crewe are a bottom-of-the table team and we were not good enough to beat them. Only the traditional Greeno super-save and some finishing worse than ours prevented us being 4-0 down at half time. Even in the second half, they came very close to scoring. We lack quality in central midfield and the right side of defence. We had no quality in central midfield until Safri came on; even then, there was no invention in the final third. Crewe just strung 5 or 6 along the 18-yard line and we didn't have the skill or nouse to break them down. With the squad we've got, we will NOT be promoted and we will struggle to make the play-offs.
