The main problem with the defence of Roeder by
Arizona Bay etc is that they fail to recognise his poor man mangement and tactical ineptitude. Where does paying Koroma and Archibald -Henville's wages fit into the 'root and branch' plan? Or signing 'new heroes' like Hoolahan and Lupoli then leaving them out? Or sacking our most potent attacking player?
I fully agree that abusing players is not beneficial but I do think there are some who are in danger of believing Roeder's own self-publicity and ignoring the FACTS - ie. the s**t football his teams are playing week after week!
Get off your 'I'm a true fan and am bloody angry about other morons expressing their anger' high horses and admit it - Roeder has had a year and he's achieved absolutely stuff all. You can't even see 'the green shoots' of a revival because we don't even own most of our players.
I wouldn't say he's quite as bad as Grant but there's no solution underway here. Things are still bad, like they were a year ago THEY'RE JUST BAD IN A DIFFERENT WAY!
