Thoughts on last night's game

Last night was the first time I've seen City this season. Overall disappointing, and probably a fair result. A few thoughts:
For me Clingan stood out as our best player. He's a presence in the centre of the park, reads the game well, gets stuck in, rarely wastes the ball. Others who impressed me were Croft, Bertrand (in patches) and Marshall (apart from his blunder late on). Thought Bell also looked promising. We improved hugely between 45 - 75 mins - good substitutions. Before that, I was hugely disappointed how easily Derby seemed to pull holes in our defence. Commons was excellent for them. Stefanovic seems to be a dirty pulling/grabbing-on-the-sly type of defender - I was surprised he didn't get a card last night. Frustrating how often Lita was caught offside, but some of the decisions from the linesman on the far side looked highly suspect. If ONLY Lita had put that chance away to make it 2-2 ...
