For starters....

I would play a simple 442 formation, with 2 proper wingers and pref a big man little man combo up front where possible

I would play the team I hoped would be my first choice 11 at the beginning of the season. (where possible)

I would NOT PLAY loan players just to keep parent clubs happy

I would not play any player out of position just to get him in the team, I would only play players in their correct positions.

I would give my percieved best team, a run of 4-5 games to see how it goes without panic changing and moving positions constantly.
