One thing that continues to frustrate me...

is that for nearly every corner and free kick we have to defend, we insist on having all eleven men back behind the ball defending. This only seems to invite presuure because as soon as the ball is cleared its coming straight back!! Wouldnt it make sense to leave at least one player up to compete for the cleared balls?? Also why do our defence and midfield insist on operating so deep, again this just invites pressure!!
