With 9 games gone
we are 19th in the table. We own about half of our first team squad. We fill the ground week in week out but have no money. The manager 'plays' the loan market so well that we haven't got a proper striker and, in order to satisfy the clubs we borrow from, we have to make at least four changes every game. We have a captain whose place in the starting line up is guaranteed despite the fact that he is consistently our worst player.
I've really tried since Arganth told me off for being miserable but it just isn't getting much better. I really hate seeing teams like Blackpool and Burnley doing better than us. Again (like before) it comes down to the manager you get, and I'm afraid Roeder is, in an odd sort of way, just a little bit arrogant. There's a kind of 'I've been in the Prem so you can't tell me anything' tone to all his comments which really irritates me.
Can somebody please tell me the causes for any optimism? (And please don't say I should cheer up because we might soon be getting another striker on loan!)
And after all that I know I'll be at the next three games wildly cheering on all these players who don't even belong to the club!
