I've only been to the Sheff Utd and Barnsley matches...

but Fotheringham was piss-poor in both. The game just goes on around him and there's little creativity from the middle. He just points at people. Doesn't even seem to be in the right place to support attack or defence.

Yesterday we looked loads better when Russell dropped back and Cureton was running onto the flicks but it didn't change much with how poor we were at creating anything. I'd have put Koroma on, not seen him yet and what's the point of bringing Curo on? We know what he can do and it wasn't going to change the game. Hoolahan got some unfair stick from what i could hear in the crowd, given 15 mins to impress and trying too hard. He should also have been on the left, with Croft staying on. There was no need to keep Bertrand and Grounds on, i'd have swapped Grounds off for Hoolahan at half-time, that's when the changes needed making. Thought Roeder was one who was happy to change things early when they weren't working?

I thought we were lucky to get away without a good spanking. Marshall pulled out a couple of good saves but mostly it was Barnsley's poor finishing in my opinion (Macken's penno was crap, an easy save).
