our defenders were hoofing it because no-one in midfield was coming back to them to look for it. It was noiticeabe last season that when Safri played our defenders didn't hoof it and when he didn't they did hoof it. You need a Safri/Mu;lryne/Crook typw who will come and get it off them and get moves started. We had no-one doing that on Saturday.
