I've read the research (well the one that caused the fuss with Dan Brown)

long before I read the dvc, which is why I thought it was just a nice fictional yarn that whiled away a weekend day and didn't get why everyone went so nuts, when people had been writing proper stuff on it for years.
I tend to take fiction as just that - so Labyrinth was another good yarn set in a nice spot.
