If there is ?2 million to spend in Worthies kitty would you......

spend half of it on a decent centre back and the other half on a midfielder or would you leave it there, see how we do and if we are struggling go for loan players?

We don't necessarily need to spend a couple of million to replace Francis, if Worthy was prepared to be a bit adventurous and explore the foreign market he could probably get a decent midfielder equal to, or better than Francis for several hundred thousand. I mean we signed Colin, who from what i have been told by my friend who attended all the friendlies is a class above Louis Jean for only ?265k, he was a PSV fringe player, i am sure that there are similar quality players in the frindges of big European clubs that woudl sell them for several hundred K. You don't have to go out and take a gamble on some dodgy Italian, but a more steady German, Belgian, or Dutch player would probably be ok.
