Some friends of Mrs Yarmy recently said that they kept coming across the name Jessica

They are now convinced there first child will be a girl called Jessica.
I told them:
a. You keep coming across it because you've got it into your heads that you'll keep coming across it, so you notice it more. Think how many names you see in a day.
b. There's a 50-50 chance your first child will be a girl and presumably it won't arrive pre-named.
c. What a load of old squit.

I'm not sure they appreciated it.
