If the A57 Snake Pass didn't end in Glossop, I'd say that.
But it ending in Glossop invalidates it.
The Wrynose pass in the lakes is a bit special.
I think my bestest road is either the bit of the A625 between Castleton and Sheff where you get your first proper view out over the peak district, at surprise view, or Blaze Hill, which runs from the Macclesfield-to-Chapel-en-le-frith road down into Bollington. But I get a sharp pain in the left ear when I drive down there.
