We have got one of those smoothie gadgets - it was a xmas pressie from in-laws.

It's not in the back of a cupboard, though, its out on the side.

It is essentially a blender with a little tap at the bottom of the jug. More powerful than a blender, though - it goes through ice a treat, whereas my blender just bats ice cubes about without really breaking them much.
