Let's do a timeline of your posting over the two England games. This is me who can be very critical of England I grant you, but

You did enjoy bashing England for a 2-0 win in Andorra, a game I said would be very difficult for England due to the dirtyness of Andorra, not the quality or the result

You did, exactly what the press did too, lambast and belittle that hostile game concluding England are awful

I suggested England would play well against Croatia, probably better than Croatia but would come away with a point when they would deserve a win. I was wrong, but I infinitely more optiimistic than the majority

Both you and I then agreed England played brilliantly, that was fair enough

Then I said later, that Rooney should stop being an idiot on the pitch, following the referee around, gobbing off, especially when the team are so in control of a match, it's not worth it. And I remarked the show boating was a bit silly too

Both were fair points, and points Capello was angry about during the game

You replied something like "you really are a contrived little fellow"

If that's not a cheeky little dig I don't know what is

If I've contrived, what are you from raving about the result against Croatia yet so damning about the Andorra game?

I guess you were generally thinking "oh look, here goes pants with his anti man utd guff", which is wasn't what I was doing. I'd make the same remarks about a player for us doing the same thing in the same situation

My mate once pointed out to me when Leon scored againt man utd and I was jumping up and down with excitement, then leon took his shirt off and I went "oh no, you'll get booked for that", and my mate went "who cares, you're winning 2-0"

He had a point, but it is just so unnessary, and if he'd been sent off later in the game, it would have been silly

Which is why a couple of days after Sellers apologised, you had to bring it up, knowing what selwyn is like, knowing you could get him to make himself look stupid, and he did
