if everyobne brings you one cake you wont be able to eat them all
assuming you work with more than two people. if you bring one cake for everyone then everyone will be an even shareholder in the cake mouth dividend. On average people generally have one birthday a year which lends an element of fairness to the financial side. Things to watch out for in the system are employing people with birthdays on the same day. Have a word with HR and put in a procedure to avoid this.
