Reminded me of the 5-1 game against Germany in 2001 (?)

We looked very good at times. Quietened the crowd then started playing. A few nervy defensive moments, but after that some quality stuff.

Thought the red card was coming as there were a few juicy tackles before the assault on Cole.

Glad Becks got a run around, I think that he might be spending some time on the bench now after Walcott's goals.

And yes I know I posted earlier I thought England were not good enough. But it was just one of those days when it alll went right.

A good evening when all the pessimists were proved wrong.
