Right - central midfield also needs to be an outlet for the wide men

and I wouldn't want them to always just predictably feed the wingers; but I don't think they particularly need to go on surging runs through the middle or play a killer 40 yard ball through to the forwards. Provided they can do the simple stuff well then we'll be a lot more solid midfield unit and that'll benefit both defence and attack.
