Ashton showed how good he will be for us this season, goal agame will be ok provided the defenders don't let us down like last season. And guess what? The defendefrs did let us down again. Doherty was very poor, pften heading the ball with no purpose, fleming let their player score.

marney looks very good, at last someone who can put in a good corner and his cross for the goal was excellent.

Midfield was good at stopping coventry but not for going forward, look forward to seeing Jarrett alongside Hughes next game - charlton was ok at stopping coventry but not very creative.

Hucks needs to be given the ball more oftern - expecially now he is adding some early crosses into his game.

The game plan seemd to revolve around early crosses
, there were several from Dryury early on, that is the correct game plan with Ashton and Mckenzie up front.
