Is Cullum contradicting himself, or does it just appear that way through shoddy reporting?

What I suppose is possible, reading between the lines, is that he wanted Delia and MWJ to remain the public faces, with Munby as chairman, yet still have overall control in that he would have the power of veto of all decisions.

I can imagine that might be a reason for the 3 to turn down his offer. Nobody would enjoy trying to run a business with their hands shackled while being the brunt of any criticism from fans and press when it goes wrong, and when it goes right hearing that Cullum is the true saviour.

Perhaps they told him that if he wanted control he must take his responsibilities, and if he wasn't willing to do that then accept less control for his investment.

Ho hum. Lovely old no f**king idea.
