That's how I see it.

The way Roeder is playing the market, he's using loans to supplement the squad as well as strengthen it. Sibs is a loan because he has his sights on Iversson/a perm for Sib in Jan. Grounds is cover as you say.

The rest are there to be both starters and squad depth. Drury fighting Plastic, Curo fighting Lupoli (with OJ offering depth), Semmy fighting Omosuzi (with Grounds offering depth), Doc will have to fight Kennedy (with Grounds again offering depth). Plenty of depth to the midfield.
