As Sept 1st approaches, i need to believe!

That we are gonna buy a striker....as i started getting a nagging feeling about 2 weeks ago,that his search for some reason, will fail and imagined what the pr sound bites would be after sept 1st..
I even wrote what i guessed would be rolled out a week ago, and then posted it on the inferior board that at least dispenses with the nitnat chit chat of apple crumble recipes and has never once mentioned the sport,strike that, the waste of sport that is cricket!
Now as the deadline approaches, i thought i would post it again, on here as, for all its failings ,is still the more informed and superior board when on occasion, football is discussed, or a thread on a possible signing is debated with the source being either an educated guess or having some sort of credence due to a player being spotted somewhere.. so this is what i fear will be the gist of what will be printed on sept 2nd..

Please glen prove me wrong, and do whatever is neccesary to get your target,including if needs be, taking delia out and getting her drunk,and persueding her to sign a check even if you have to fool her into thinking its the bill for the meal
