If one year the NHC results in a 1/4 of London being smashed up and billions of damage being caused, then I think it will be re thought about holding it

If football can't prove in the past or present that it can be safe (ie Republic of Ireland v England, Hillsborough, Heysel, Bradford, Rangers fans smashing up manchester etc etc), then the police will be in their rights to restrict kick off times and games as much as possible

Leeds v Carlisle is now a game regarded as trouble and has an early kick off. Yet this season they met in the play offs, and sky wanted the game as a night match. Luckilly for the police, not many away fans turned up to Elland Road, but when the game was played in Carlisle, trouble kicked off in and outside the ground, vindicating the police's previous actions to bring the kick off back to lunch time

Football has over it's history, been it's own worst enemy here, and just because some public order offences of a tiny scale occurred in your area last week, it doesn't mean it's anything on the scale of football hooliganism
