Chelski can pay such silly money that ANY player will always choose them. And if Reading lose a player for nowt, and Chelski let him rot in the reserves for a year then sell him for 5 million, how does that help even out the playing field?
I wish Bates had held on and they had been swallowed up by liquidation.
