OK, I was a bit harsh on Notman

but we bought him as a striker and he couldn't (REALLY couldn't) score goals (1 in total I think). But he was indeed better than Croft.

Abbey was just getting good when he got injured the first time and was never the same again, so it is hard to judge him. Hard to blame him for the injuries.
