What exactly is the point of it???

it's full of sports that nobody wants to watch. That's why the Chinese have to bus people in to fill the venues. Lets face it, synchronised diving or rifle shooting are never going to be stadium fillers week in week out are they? Why don't they have olympic darts, snooker or even bowls?
