It's just that, well...

I remember standing at Vicarage Road getting on for five years ago now. Norwich had just produced a display of utter garbage, and lost 2-1 to a dreadful Watford. We were in the middle of an embarrassing run on our travels which saw us plummet from a top 3 spot at the end of October: and the fans clapped the players off the pitch!

And if we are going to be so tolerant and placid, is it any wonder our away form is often so poor? If you take most of the play-off challengers this season, going into their games, there's no way you'll be able to confidently predict "brave, gallant display - lose 1 or 2-0) the way you can with us. And I say this knowing that it's very early days, and only Year One of a three-year plan really. But we're just such a soft touch sometimes, and I'd be surprised if fans of real contenders would accept what we often seem to.
