NINE other points from yesterday's game...

Agree with most other people who went to the game, we were the better team, played nice pass and move football, just should have finished our chances, so thought I'd mention some other points from the game...

1. ref should have given us a pen for an obvious foul on Wes when it was 1-1, would have changed the game. Bottled it and Fozzy went berzerk, Kennedy had to drag him away. However, he also should have sent Dejan off in the 1st half but bottled that too.

2. Leon got a good reception from Nodge fans so I was expecting a muted celebration from his goal to return the respect. However, he proceeded to run around behind the goal for about 5 minutes with his shirt off. Was surprised he didn't pull down his shorts and start tugging himself.

3. Lupoli has replaced his red boots for green ones, good lad.

4. Morrison was wearing the number 1+9 on the back of his shirt, big bender.

5. Stefanovic played some nice passes from the back, much improvement from the hoofs of yesterseason.

6. Thought OJ had some "lovely moves" off the ball, looked promising although should have scored.

7. Roeder went bezerk when Croft fluffed his chance.

8. memo to Lupoli, Curo, Wes, Croft: SHOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. ?3.75 for a bottle of beer.

Should've won but didn't. However, keep playing that way and if we finish our chances, we will do well this season.
