does anyone know of a program to play .wmv files on a mac,

I don't really want to download windows media player but i'm not sure if there is any other way. I have VLC player and Quicktime on my computer but niether of those will play it unfortunately. I've also tired this User Posted Link But it didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas or helpful hints? thanks all.
