Worth bearing in mind that

just after Xmas we were doomed. Certain for the drop, and at that point other players were also the subject of transfer speculation. It seemed to affect him more than most, and it is good to know that we keep players who react to adversity with grit and determination and dump those whose heads drop. I won't miss him.
