my faves were

Joy Formidables, Interpol, Micah P Hinson, Bearsuit.

Also enjoyed The Aliens (I'm more of a supporter than thought they were terrific from that show though), Elbow, Seasick Steve. Thought Sigur Ros were pretty good but Franz Ferdinand were ropey. As were House of Love (who I saw many times in 90/91) but I left when they played Shine On (which I heard was ace) and returned half way thru Beetles and the Stones. They did get better at the end.
