The point is that pants is an optimist who thinks there's pletny of time to get the bodies

in and that Roeder will have his targets all lined up, and selwyn is a worrier who thinks that this has all been left too late and we are going to be left with an inadequate squad and a weak first team.

It's not that hard to work out, is it?
