Seth Johnson - the real cost of football
Just looking at that story about Seth Johnson, and it makes you realise how lucky we are to have a sensible board of directors.
He's cost Leeds a cool ?14.7 million in transfer fees and wages, and for that they got 59 games at a cost of ?249,000 a game.
And now he's been shipped out with not a penny in transfer fees recouped because they can't afford to pay Derby a further quarter of a million quid (or the cost of one of his previous games anyway) if he plays another match!!
And Ken Bates is supposed to be their saviour?
Don't make me laugh.
