First couple of games yeah, that paved the way for him frozen out for yonks

or moved to centre mid

I remember him coming on at brum and us equaliser about 5 minutes later because he allowed mulryne into the game

Then against Liverpool at home he played brillliantly at right back. We played mint but two daft mistakes by flem and one from charlton, for me, were the only reason we lost. I thought we held our own otherwise

A week later Bentley injured, helveg back in midfield, someone else got injured against west ham and it was back to old formations

When Helveg safri and bentley came back for the game against man utd at home, we gave Ferguson a shock he wasn't expecting. Helveg won the free kick which rooney was booked from, from there it was bentley to ashton 1 nil

He also used his experience to make the most of a little tap from damian johnson against brum, dropped to the floor and Johnson was red carded

You might be right about mistakes, but I think I put them down to him being out of position in midfield. At right back I thought he was an integral part of our run which we nearly stayed up

If only worthy hadn't been silly and realised he would take time to adapt to the prem
