I was just wondering if you might want to reconsider your decision to hang up your boots and give us one last season. I realise that you have now qualified for a bus pass and that it will be invalidated if you continue your career, but I have had a word with Delia and she reckons we can probably just about manage to subsidise your bus travel to and from training due to impressive season ticket sales.
We will also be prepared to give any of your mates a trial if you could have a word. Cambridge United were quite a force in the 80's and I'm sure some of them could enhance our squad for the coming season.
