Todays news has been common knowledge for those in the know since the story of Callums interest first broke.
As I have said previously the phrase used by Delia was "over my dead body". Additional details of the real reasons behind her constant refusal to deal with Callum will come out in the local press over the next fortnight.
The board have always known that a deal would not be concluded, this has been the reason that the transfer of Gow had initially been put on hold and is now dead.
The main issue now internally at NCFC is Roeder. He has been told that he will only be able to add loanees to the squad (and specifically only short term loanees) he is not even able to add season long loans, hence the short term signing of Bertrand. The noises from inside Carrow Road (PR Dept) are that he will be leaving Carrow Road before the season starts.
There may be ?250,000 for a permanant signing. Perhaps.
