Well, if it is in USB mass storage mode, surely it

should act as an external drive when you connect to your PC. So, you wouldn't be able to synchronise but you should be able, with a bit of hunting around, to find the file storing the contacts and copy it off. It is very likely to be in human readable format (e.g. CSV or XML so you can just open it in notepad and get the numbers back). A bit of work but better than losing the numbers.

But if that dunt work, I think you're f**ked, my son.
