I think they need to be a little more transparent. Although not if it's all actually still going through behind the scenes, in which case of course they'll reveal very little.
If it really, really is dead in the water though, it would help win back some fans to go on a bit of a PR offensive for the feelgood factor.
Signing some players would be the best way to do that though!
