you see they DID have to pay off the debts because they couldn't meet interest payments. Which is why there isn't quite so much cash as theye'd like to have lying around. (this is one scenario I am familiar with - I worked for a company that had made a massive takeover financed by junk bonds and within two years couldn't meet the debts. Selling was the ONLY option. But it wasn't Ipswich obviously because I'd rather remove my limbs than work for them)
