When you pay back a loan or mortgage early what happens?

You pay an early repayment fee. Now this is less that the bank would make over time, but they get it straight away in cash. If Norwich get relegated, which is a serious risk regardless of how much gets spent (Leicester spent loads last year?), then we'd likely go into admin which means the banks are less likely to get good money. That would be my take on it.
