Misplaced optomism going into the second test...
I have a strong feeling (until around 11.30am) that we're going to claw our way back into this Ashes series.
With it being a seamers wicket, I would have preferred they go with Collingwood over Gilo. As it is, the choice I think will be between Tremlett and Hoggard. If we bat first, expect the Aussies to be aiming towards Vaughan's bruised elbow.
It's bright and overcast here in the Midlands, and still some moisture in the wicket after the rain earlier in the week. Ripe for a bit of swing should England win the toss...
Come on boys.
