Because speculation is the basis of an awful lot of football journalism?

Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT saying that he shouldn't ask questions of the Turners as well - what I am saying is that the Turners are not the subject of his article - Cullum is. So to criticise him for not asking the same question of the Turners in that very article is a bit unfair.

You're picking on one thing he says (or to be more accurate doesn't say), when his article hinges on a number of other points as well. I'm not offering an opinion on whether I agree with him or not - I'm just pointing out that Dennis's articles usually get this kind of unbalanced criticism when similar leaps of rhetoric by other columnists are accepted without question.
