Hoho.

Of course there is no reason why web-sites shouldn't work on all standards compliant browsers (weird ACID tests aside); but sadly there are millions of incompetent web-programmers out there.

Had one the other day while trying to book a train ticket on Swedish rail site (sj.se). This works fine on FireFox on the Mac - however, credit card payment requires some Visa verification bollox, which doesn't work on FireFox or indeed any browser except Safari. Sadly, sj.se doesn't work at all on Safari... Used a UK credit card in the end, which didn't want the verification thingy. The problem appears to be Javascript related.
